Lucent, Nortel and Cisco all used vendor financing during the dotcom era. Read the history of those companies. Hopefully, those who pound the table will at least take pause to think.

Only $CSCO remains. It once traded at lofty multiples and was a Jim Cramer darling that you had to own regardless of price.

And yes the major passive indexes are now fraught with risk. I shudder to think of what could occur if one of the AI companies sneezes.

Also be wary of the ETF’s you own. Always look at what’s inside or under the hood. They may hold a large percentage of widely held and over hyped and expensive stocks as well.
